Made for
Six good photos of yourself is a lot to ask. There is the one from a work badge, a group picture with someone cropped out, and one decent one from a wedding in 2021. That is the real problem with a Tinder profile, not the bio. Start with the single photo you do like and build a full set from it.
You are not the problem. Your photos are.

Filling nine slots from one photo
Nine slots, one photo
Tinder gives you up to nine photo slots. Filling them does not need nine photos of yourself. One upload starts a batch, and each batch returns 2 to 8 photos, so a full profile is a couple of rounds away.
What you upload, what Tinder shows
The photo you upload needs one person in it, your face towards the camera, and your hair visible. Nothing else. What Tinder shows is a different thing: one photo at full card size, with a new scene and outfit in every slot.
Face Check is separate
Tinder runs Face Check, a liveness scan, for new accounts in a growing list of countries. It checks a live face against the account. Every photo here starts from your own face. That is the whole idea: your face, not someone else's.

Questions
How many photos do you need for a Tinder profile?
Tinder has up to nine slots. You do not have to fill all nine, and no rule says you must. A batch here gives you 2 to 8 photos, so one or two rounds covers a profile and still leaves you some to reject. You can come back and add more slots later.
What if all I have is selfies?
A selfie works as the photo you upload. It needs one person in it, your face towards the camera, and your hair visible. Where you were standing does not matter, because you pick the scene and the outfit after that. What ends up on the Tinder card does not have to look like a selfie.
Can I just use group photos on Tinder?
You can upload them, but Tinder's own Photo Selector will not suggest a group photo. On a card that fills the whole screen, a group photo asks a stranger to work out which person you are. If group photos are all you have, that is the gap worth closing first. One face from one of them is enough to start.
My photos are all a few years old. Does that matter?
For the upload, only your face matters, so an older photo still works if you still look like it. If you have changed, use the most recent photo you have, even a dull one from your phone. That photo sets the face on every Tinder card you end up with. The scene and the outfit are your call.
Will the photos still look like me?
Yes. It is your own face, not a new one. Upload clear photos and the results look like you, at your best.
Are AI photos allowed on dating apps?
Yes. Dating apps do not ban AI photos. They ban pretending to be someone else. A photo that still looks like you is what passes their check.
How many photos do I need to upload?
One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.
Can I choose the scenes and outfits?
Yes. Pick a place and clothes from the list, describe them, or show us a photo to follow.
How much does it cost?
You pay once, with no subscription. Packs start at 19 euros, and you only spend a credit when you ask for a photo.
Can I try it for free first?
Yes. Your first two photos are free and you do not need a card. See your own face before you pay anything.
Is my data private?
We never train on your photos and we never share them. They stay yours.
