Hinge profile pictures worth commenting on

Hinge lets people like a single photo and write a note on it. Choose the scene and the outfit, and get back photos with something in them to talk about.

Made for

On Hinge, people do not swipe your whole profile. They like one photo and write a line about it. So each photo has to hold on its own and offer a way in: a place, a jacket, something you are doing. You pick the scene and the outfit, upload a photo of your face, and get back a small set to choose from.

From your selfies to your next match

  1. Upload your selfies

One photo of your face is enough. Selfies are fine. Up to four if you have them.

  2. Choose the look

Pick the scene and the outfit, or just describe the photos you want.

  3. Get your photos

Download the ones you like, and go get those matches.

Questions

How many photos do I need to upload?

One is enough to start. You can upload up to four if you want more variety. Each one has to show a single person, your face turned to the front, hair visible. From that you get the 4 to 6 photos a Hinge profile asks for.

Should my Hinge pictures be selfies?

A selfie is fine as the photo you upload, as long as it shows one person, face to the front, hair visible. What you get back does not have to look like a selfie. A wider scene leaves room for something a note can land on.

What does it cost to fill a Hinge profile?

Packs are one off, with no subscription: 19 euros for 30 photos, 39 for 100, 69 for 200. Hinge holds 4 to 6, so the smallest pack covers several rounds of trying different scenes. Your first 2 photos are free when you sign up, with no card.

Which scene should I choose for a Hinge photo?

Choose a place someone could ask you about. A workshop, a market, a hill with a view. The scene can be a preset, a description you write, or a photo you upload as a reference. A blank wall gives a note nowhere to go.

Will the photos still look like me?

Yes. It is your own face, not a new one. Upload clear photos and the results look like you, at your best.

Are AI photos allowed on dating apps?

Yes. Dating apps do not ban AI photos. They ban pretending to be someone else. A photo that still looks like you is what passes their check.

How many photos do I need to upload?

One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.

Can I choose the scenes and outfits?

Yes. Pick a place and clothes from the list, describe them, or show us a photo to follow.

How much does it cost?

You pay once, with no subscription. Packs start at 19 euros, and you only spend a credit when you ask for a photo.

Can I try it for free first?

Yes. Your first two photos are free and you do not need a card. See your own face before you pay anything.

Is my data private?

We never train on your photos and we never share them. They stay yours.
